If you live in California (CCPA/CPRA), or in another US state with a comprehensive privacy law, you can require that your personal information not be sold or shared for cross-context behavioural advertising. This page sets out how to exercise that right with Loadmend.
What Happens Next
Opting out stops the sharing of advertising identifiers; it does not remove advertising from the site. You may still see ads, but they will be generic rather than selected from your browsing history. Nothing else about the site changes, and we do not degrade access or withhold content because you opted out.
Background
Nothing is sold for cash. What may occur is that, where advertising appears on this site, advertising partners receive cookie and device identifiers tied to your browser — conduct potentially covered by the statutory terms ‘sale’ and ‘sharing’. We treat it as covered and give you the opt-out.
This right is available to every reader of loadmend.com, not only to readers interested in Loadmend who have contacted us or joined the mailing list.
Turning This Off
The automatic route is Global Privacy Control: enable it in your browser and this site respects it on every visit without you asking. Manual routes are the consent banner, where one is presented, and email to hello@loadmend.com with ‘Do Not Sell or Share’ in the subject. No account or registration is needed.
Our State Privacy Notice covers the remaining rights available under state law.
